Kapton films
Kapton film, created by DuPont™, is a polyimide film renowned for its outstanding electrical, mechanical, physical, and chemical properties. Classified as a Class C thermal material, Kapton can withstand temperatures exceeding 240°C. Due to its exceptional characteristics, Kapton serves as a flexible insulator that remains stable across a broad temperature range from -269°C to +400°C. This makes it suitable for various industrial applications demanding high electrical, mechanical, or thermal performance. Kapton is extensively used in environments subject to high heat and vibration, as it maintains its properties under the most challenging conditions.
